We are pleased to welcome Traci Wolfenbarger to the RIM team. Traci joins us in the role of Human Resources Generalist and will be responsible for all of human resources at RIM and will lead our EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) efforts.

Traci brings over 10 years of work experience with increasing responsibility and a strong HR generalist background. Traci holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and minor in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee.

Bob has many years of experience in packaging & manufacturing. His most recent position was as a Senior Packaging Engineer at Ghafari Associates, where he worked in support of many Chrysler vehicle programs. Bob's experience includes operations management, packaging engineering, and project management which will all serve him well in his new position.

Mike has an accounting background that most recently includes a position as a Financial Manager where he was responsible for the company’s overall financial management and accounting operations. He also has experience in project management in the construction industry. Mike holds both a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University.

RIM Welcomes New Employee | aschorer - 6.19.2012
We are pleased to welcome Adam Crofts to the RIM team. He joins us in the role of Packaging Designer.

Adam has a packaging background that most recently includes a position at Caterpillar in Seguin, Texas as a Package Design Engineer where he designed custom fabricated racks for engine parts. He is also a recent graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Packaging.

RIM Welcomes New Employees | aschorer - 6.23.2011
We are pleased to welcome Kenneth Peterka, James Wilkinson, and Elizabeth Kosorski to the RIM team.

Kenneth Peterka joins us in the role of Packaging Designer. He has over 10 years experience in rack design and has worked with companies such as Chrysler and General Electric. He has designed racks using both CATIA and Unigraphics software. Along with his design experience, he has also worked as a CNC department manager.

James Wilkinson joins us in the role of Operations Manager. He has many years of operations and production experience in the manufacturing industry. He has worked in the metal stamping and welded assemblies business for over 12 years. His experience includes logistics, production, and operations management which will all serve him well in his new position.

Elizabeth Kosorski joins us as an Intern. Elizabeth is currently attending Michigan State University pursuing a degree in Human Resources. Her summer internship involves assisting with purchasing, human resources and logistics.

We are pleased to welcome Chris Sedgeman and Jim Lee to the RIM team. Chris brings a background in tooling, product and rack design with experience in the automotive, material handling and aerospace industries. Chris is highly skilled and trained in CATIA V5 and joins us in the role of Packaging Designer.

Jim is stepping into the role of Program Manager – Rack Reuse. Jim graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Packaging Engineering and was a Transportation & Logistics Specialist in the United States Air Force. On December 14th, 2007 Repair Industries successfully completed the 1st quality system surveillance audit and was recommended for continued registration to ISO 9001:2000 by its registrar, NSF. Our scope of registration remains the same: Container and rack build including prototype, fabrication, modification, repair, salvage and container components. On December 4, 2006, RIM was recommended for registration to ISO 9001:2000. After many months of preparation for conversion from QS 9000:1998 to ISO 9001:2000, including rewriting RIMs Quality Manual and Procedures, internal audits, training, and a lot of hard work by RIM management and employees, we are certainly pleased with the result of our registration audit. We are anxiously awaiting our certificate from our registrar, NSF-ISR, and will post the certificate to our website as soon as we receive it.

Renovation Underway for New Design and Development Center | tschorer - 11.17.2004
17341 Sherwood, which everyone refers to as the 'Bailey Building,' will become the new home for our Design and Development Center. The 8,000 square foot facility will have office space for up to seven designers, conference area with video projector, and seating for customer use.

The shop area will be dedicated to reviewing prototype racks. Minor modification can be made during a review, such as relocating a pocket or swapping out dunnage. Standard and non-standard dunnage will be on-hand in a wide variety of shapes and spacings.


EDI Software to Bridge the Gap | tschorer - 10.1.2004
RIM has rolled out an EDI solution to provide an e-commerce bridge between our trading partners and our business software, Microsoft Navision. The EDI solution allows automated electronic exchange of information including orders, shipment notifications, and invoicing.

Benefits include a 45% reduction in manual business process transactions and creation of shipping notification and invoicing workflow.
